You will rest in Merida, the largest city on the Yucatan, a city of history where you will also find many of the local crafts for sale. Continue on to the Puuc Zone and visit the ancient ruins of Sayil, Labna, Kabah and Uxmal, each sharing its own part of the ancient Mayan history. Stay in Campeche, the only walled city in Mexico. You will also visit the ruins of Chicanna, Becan as well as Tulum, one of the most impressive of the ancient Mayan World. Relax on the beaches of Akumal and then back to Cancun. This is truly a journey that you will treasure for the rest of your life.

Itinerary
Day 1
Your first days journey will take you from Cancun to the grandeur of Chichen Itza, the most beautiful of all of the ancient Mayan cities. There you will see El Castillo, the Temple of the Warriors, the Ball Court and well as many other sites of the city. You will be led by our experienced guide, who will be prepared to answer any of your questions. Later in the afternoon you will move on to Merida, the largest city on the Yucatan to rest for the night. If you still have the energy, you will have the opportunity to enjoy an optional evening of folklore, music and dancers.

Day 2
Your morning will begin with a brief tour of Merida, itself an important city in the ancient Mayan civilization. From Merida, you will travel to Sayil, Labna , Kabah and Uxmal, all Mayan cities of  the past. Discover the history of each of these cities and see how they each have their own identity. Later that day you will continue on to Campeche, the only walled city in Mexico, to spend the night.

Day 3
You will take a panoramic drive of Campeche and depart for Escarcega, and then Chicanna, in the heart of the Calakmul Ecological Reserve. Here you will be able to enjoy the beauty of this area. You will stay in a small, simple, but clean jungle lodge with modern facilities, however, there will not be air conditioning. You will truly be able to enjoy this night as we take you back to nature.

Day 4
Your journey will take you to visit the ruins of Chicanna. If time permits, you will also be treated to the ruins of Becan. In the afternoon you will move on to Chetumal, located on the shores of the Bacalar Lagoon and rest for the night at your hotel.

Day 5
 In the morning you will be able to relax on the shores of the Bacalar Lagoon. You will then journey to Tulum, the only explored Mayan City on the shores of the Caribbean. This site is one of the most impressive of the Mayan World. There are over 60 well preserved structures awaiting you in Tulum where your guide will make sure that your visit is one to remember. You will then drive on to Akumal and rest for the night. The small town of Akumal or "place of the turtle" is a haven for endangered marine turtles. It is also a peaceful and tranquil retreat for honeymooners or visitors alike.

Day 6
The morning is yours at leisure to rest and enjoy the beach and the crystal blue waters of Akumal. When you are ready in the afternoon, you will move up the coast to Cancun where your adventure with us will come to a close.
