Shopping in Pvr
Puerto Vallarta has everything. Street vendors, local shops, flea markets, beach vendors and upscale boutiques too! Good thing is that many shops will ship pottery, painting, etc., for you.
Isla Del Rio Cuale
The island offers very good boutiques and shops in a very well location, nestled among tropical plants. Don't forget to visit as well the Municipal Market, usually called "the flea market", standing to one side of the bridge that leads from the old section of town to the downtown area.
Downtown
You can browse a variety of shops with high quality items produced with Mexican originality on Morelos, Juarez and Diaz Ordaz streets.
Old Vallarta
There are several streets of shops tempting you with decorations, clothing, home, garden decorations and handicrafts.
Hotel Zone
In this area, you can find large, modern shopping malls like Plaza Marina, Plaza Genovesa and Plaza Caracol, many clothing shops, electronic equipment stores and much more.
Marina Vallarta
Plaza Neptuno is located in this area. This is the place to go if you are looking for stores that offer more upscale items. Some things to find here are interior design shops, home and garden decoration, art galleries and clothing too!
Nuevo Vallarta
Paradise Plaza Mall, next to the Paradise Village Hotel. This mall has 110 retail stores and here you can find everything from a T-shirt to a yacht!
